  In winter 2017 THE WEIGHT released their long-awaited and widely acclaimed debut
  album – THE WEIGHT. During the next two years extensive touring made them known to a
  wider live audience throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Hard work and slog
  refined the band’s stage performance, creating an atmosphere that established them as a
  highly praised live act and thus laid the foundation of a promising career. In retrospective
  this tour can be seen as a cornerstone of the band’s further development out of the
  charming small venues into a prosperous future.
  With their latest release LIVE TAPES the four musicians give a deep insight into their craft
  and creativity on stage. Moosbrugger’s bass is pumping and rumbling all over the place,
  Vetter is simply killing it on the drums and it remains a secret where Boebel got his riffs
  and licks from. Maybe Jussel, the frontman and singer, could tell but he is way too busy
  winning the audience in a moaning, invoking, almost operatic manner.
  Given the freedom from the studio and being striped down to their basic instrumentation
  THE WEIGHT’s songs reveal remarkable and valuable qualities you wouldn’t hear on an
